MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Reporting to the Area prodution manager( Assembly\ lead preparation), you will be Responsible for the successful, cost-efficient operations of the Area\ business you're in charge of.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effective communication to all manufacturing staff of production targetsEnsure all plans are delivered on time, in full, following agreed schedules.
Maintaining and improving the current levels of efficiency on-site.
Encourage continuous improvement through application of Lean ManufacturingEnsure workforce is multi-skilled so the business has adequate continuity and agile work force. Establish measures to monitor performance and control any deviation to standard. Effectively interact with all departments to ensure full and proper communication on all Work with plant team to investigate customer complaints and implement preventive actions
Accountable for performance management and career development within control area
Managing, monitoring and controlling production on a shift-by-shift basis.Managing and maintaining production throughput and relieve bottlenecks, reducing the level of reworl and the amount of scrap caused through production errors.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Negotiation skills, delegation of duties Ability to make hard and quick decisions, analytical way of thinking. Ability to manage conflicts
Ability to motivate, inspire and lead the production team. Ability to reach targets under tight deadlines. A high level of commitment to ensure that results are achieved and targets met Good communication and English skills. Other languages would be considered an asset
Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality.
BAC+5\ Engineering degree with at least 4 years experience in production supervision within automotive industry
