As part of our development, we are currently seeking a Roaming Engineer for a project based in Morocco.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Roaming Engineer is responsible for managing and coordinating roaming configurations and routine tests.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
v Identify the itinerary of the points of capture,
v Identify the points with a strong roaming traffic by cities/site,
v Understand the roamers performance by managing roaming tests,
v Suggest and implement the right solutions in order to keep the roamers and to improve the roaming traffic,
v Creation of solutions skills documentation (parameters template)
v Roaming statistics database for reference,
v Prepare reports daily, weekly, and monthly reports for engineers, Management and Group.
Job Qualification / Experience
v 5-6 years experience in Core/Radio Network.
Specific Competencies
The selected candidate would combine a strong technical background with great organizational and communication skills, detail-oriented, self-motivated individuals bringing a strong ability to troubleshoot problems. Inspired by the desire to understand the details involved in effectively deploying critical software and hardware and playing a key role in challenging environments.
v Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively in French and English (written and oral), and ideally Arabic,
v Good synthesize and communication skills to extract the right information to communicate,
v Ability to read, evaluate and interpret schematics, diagrams and maps,
v Planning and Organizing.
Technical skills:
As Roaming Engineer - your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
v Networking roaming experience,
v Roaming test equipment experience,
v Experience in Core/ Radio Network,
v Fundamental knowledge on 2G/3G/HSPA technologies and concepts,
v Network interfaces such as A-Interface, Gb, Gn, GP, luCS, luPS, lur, lub, Nc, Mc etc.,
v Hardware and Software such as SUN/Oracle servers, Linux/Unix and Windows Servers,
v Experience with routing and signaling protocols, control plane technologies (ASON,GMPLS),
Contract:
v Location: Morocco,
v Citizenship: Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria or France,
v Duration: 12 months min,
v Schedule: Full-Time.
